Peak Solar's Customer Testimonials

client3My wife and I are planning to retire in 10 years and were worried about how we can afford to live in our 3200 Sq Ft house in Roseville CA on a retirement income. We decided to look at solar as a way to decrease our monthly bills. After doing days of research and price comparisons it was clear that Peak Solar out of Florida was the correct choice. John Bucher was excellent to work with and after discussing options for panels and inverters, we went with a 4.6kw system with Enphase micro-inverters. The result, for the first month (June 2012) my PG&E electric bill was $26.00, a savings or over $200 due to the solar panels. The next door neighbor already purchased from Peak Solar and many of our other neighbors plan to follow. I highly recommend Peak Solar and John Bucher. Jim H.

client1"Peak Solar was very helpful in selecting the right equipment for my system. John Bucher was prompt to return my calls and very knowledgeable in answering my questions. The ordering process was painless and I received my equipment in a short time. Peak Solar helped make my switch to solar a pleasurable experience!" Joe J.in San Diego, CA.

“John and team at Peak Solar were great. They helped size the system, made sure all the parts down to the bolt were included, and had the complete system to me in under a week. I was then able to install it and had it up and running over a weekend.

Peak Solar was very easy to work with and provided everything needed for a turn key solution.

My project was on a tight deadline to receive the state tax credits and Peak Solar was able to get everything delivered on time for me to meet the due dates. The system has been working flawlessly for over six months now and has saved over $500 in electricity. I would recommend Peak Solar to anyone thinking of a solar system and I will use them in the future when I expand my system.

“The Peak Solar/Canadian Solar modules that you provided for the 10,000 Watt DC Solar array I designed were very high quality modules. The customer is very happy with that installation, and the system is working at about 10% better than the NREL tool forecasted, which is just what I expected. I appreciate your assistance in obtaining those modules.”

Late 2011 I decided to look into installing solar power on my house. Looking at companies in the area (mid NJ) they came in around $40k for a 10kW system installed. Based on what I found on line parts should be around 20k, so I decided to do this on my own. Goal was minimum cost, solid quality, but no frills or extra gadgets driving cost up.

I ended up with Peak Solar based on price, quality of products offered, and straight answers to all questions. I have a PhD in electrical engineering, which they obviously didn’t know, understand the theoretical piece of this system very well. They never tried to sell me something I didn’t really need or avoid giving me the correct answer because it might cost them the sale. Very open with need for unobstructed sun shine for solar to work well. What was even more impressive was support after sale with questions related in installation of racking system. No decline in support after the sale.

I currently have 9.9kW of Canadian Solar Panels on my roof sitting on Unirac mounting racks feeding an SMA-8000 inverter in my basement. On a sunny mid August day it generates about 27kWh with fairly significant shade. I’ll have the trees trimmed back shortly with the goal of bringing this up closer to 40kWh/day.

I’ll highly recommend Peak Solar.

Peak solar worked with me to create a off grid 12 volt system for my Ohio cabin. I installed the system my self and I am producing 4.5kw a day on my small system which gives more than enough for my 1.4kw average daily usage. I have had the system for over a year now and have had only 3 times when I needed to start up my generator for a couple hours to meet my needs. Since I did a self install the overall job took a little longer but saved me money. Peak solar helped me through the entire process.
